The World Commission on Dams has nearly completed its workplan and selected consultants to lead work on the thematic reviews. Because of difficulties in fundraising the Commission will only study 8 dams in depth, and its thematic reviews will not be as participatory as had been hoped. See www.dams.org or www.irn.org for more details. There will be a WCD Forum meeting in Prague in late March and a meeting of European NGOs working on dams in Poland in from 20-26 April.
