The agenda for next year's UN Conference on Finance For Development will cover 6 broad themes. These are: mobilising domestic financial resources for development; mobilising international resources for development: foreign direct investment and other private flows; trade; international financial cooperation for development, debt; and the overall coherence of the international monetary, financial and trading systems in support of development. No date or venue for the conference has been confirmed although it will take place before July 2001.
