News||15 April 2000|update 16|
The Bank plans to launch a series of consultations on its planned new environment strategy. More information should soon be on the Bank's website, under the NGOs link. The Bank is working particularly with the coordinators of the NGO network that convenes groups for the Global Environment Facility to help reach in-country NGOs, disseminate information, convene regional meetings, and organize responses.
