French government report late but detailed

The French government's annual report to parliament on its interventions in the Bank and IMF has arrived seven months late but is more explicit than previous versions. The report indicates the French position - including some votes - on key issues, strategies and country-specific loans. It provides useful information on the coordination of European interventions and Executive Directors. The third annual UK Treasury report on the IMF, due out soon, is not expected to be so detailed. French NGO Agir ici is planning to map the practices of European governments in reporting to parliaments and the public on the IFIs.
