WB, parliamentarians meet in Switzerland

Around two hundred parliamentarians from Europe, Asia and Africa gathered in Switzerland. The third conference of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank was addressed by the President of the World Bank, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation and a number of other official and non-official speakers. Whilst this network is useful in bringing together MPs for conferences and field trips, it has yet to develop independent mechanisms for keeping MPs in touch with each other.
