A conference in central London on May 28 will look at 'Business and the Challenge of Sustainable Development'. It aims to make the case that "sustainability initiatives should become as much a part of the modern business model as networked computers and just-in-time inventory management." Speakers such as the Former chairman of Shell Group and the senior director of McDonald's will contribute alongside representatives from various financial organisations such as the IFC. Jonathon Porritt, Chairman of the Sustainable Development Commission (UK) will round off the proceedings. This text may be freely used providing the source is credited.
