NGO preparations are already underway for the World Bank’s 2000 annual meetings. These will be held in Prague, Czech Republic. Planning by the Czech government and World Bank has been underway for some years.
The CEE Bankwatch Network of NGOs wants to develop an organising committee of NGOs from across the world, to link international policy and advocacy work with local knowledge and logistical support.
