The World Bank has decided to post its schedule of what will be discussed at Board meetings. The Bank has previously maintained that this information must be kept secret.
The Bank has not, however, gone the next step to make public the votes and statements of Board members. A recent briefing from Bank Information Center comments that: “The Board has not yet acknowledged that the public has a right to know how they are being represented within the Bank”.
